This is my personal dumping ground of my most recent experiments and play things that otherwise have no home.
Branding + Visual Identity
Code:Red aims to bring a fresh new personality to a sterile industry: Emergency Prep. Using bold patterns, casual language, and a touch of humor Code:Red reinvents emergency products. The brand focuses around the "every day emergencies" that parents, athletes, teachers, and everyone in between knows so well.
Illustration + Presentation Design
Each year, Qualcomm Inc. invites kids to take part in a day-long event meant to inspire curiosity in the STEM fields. I was asked to create visuals to support the opening presentation. The speaker wanted the opportunity to engage with the audience rather than play a video. As a team, Chris Cromwell and I created a hybrid presentation that leveraged powerpoint, clever script-writing, and thoughtful animation. We were able to create a series of fun and interactive short clips that ran like a seamless and organic experience.
National portfolio Day
Illustration + Visual Identity Design
Poster, postcard, and takeaway pamphlet designed for the 2014 Florida National Portfolio Day hosted at Ringling College and New World School of the Arts. The materials had a 2-color restriction and as a response I created a 12-color palette using mixes of two spot colors. Each icon illustration is meant to represent all fields within art and design as well as the basic fundamentals of art education.
A zine made in collaboration with Gab Thompson. The zine visualizes the experiences shared by the strangers we came across in Sarasota, Florida. We took snippets of intimate conversations and illustrated these moments over several spreads.
TimeLife: The Cell
Illustration + Print Design
A complete redesign of the 1967 Edition of the Timelife book, The Cell. All images, infographics, and typography has been redesigned using a system that feels more contemporary. The color scheme, a series of deep magenta and aubergine hues, is an allusion to the standard dyes applied to cellular slides for microscopic viewing.
SF Based Ceramics company, Bobo Ceramics, approached me to help illustrate their next line of childrens tableware.

Photography + Music Branding
This project is part branding, part memoir. I wanted to create a piece that captured the essence of my childhood home. Goulds, is this relatively isolated neighborhood in South Miami that has plenty of charm to offer if you look in the right places. In its roughness and air of delinquency I was inspired to seek the tender moments in between hardness. I wanted to contrast abrasive graphics with these soft photographs as a way to tell the complicated narrative of this place.
